Social affect company Makers Unite and outside apparel model Patagonia have opened the ‘United Maintenance Centre’ (URC) in Amsterdam, aiming to provide a remedy for disposable apparel by executing repairs for shoppers across Europe.
The URC also hopes to make it less difficult for brands to incorporate repair and reuse into their organization types, countering the detrimental impacts of the textile marketplace.
